APECS Bulgaria is part of the global network of APECS (Association of Polar Early Career Scientists) – an association that brings together young scientists and researchers focused on polar sciences and studies. We are a group of ambitious young scientists and professionals striving to promote polar science in Bulgaria and inspire the new generation of researchers to engage in scientific projects and expeditions.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between young people and polar science by providing opportunities for education, knowledge exchange, and participation in international scientific initiatives. With the help of our partners and colleagues from various scientific institutions and organizations, we organize educational events, scientific expeditions, and initiatives aimed at expanding the understanding of the importance of polar regions for global environmental and climate processes.
